New Chataqua County Mortgage Tax Increase

Thanks to Mike Berry of First American for bringing this to everyone's attention.

"Chautaququa County has elected to impose a county mortgage recording tax of $.25 for each $100 secured effetive as to mortgages recorded on and after October 1, 2005 for a total mortgage recording tax of $1.25 for each $100 secured."
